Thank you for saying this, last week my husband and I lost a friend to a “train accident” and about a month ago another friend to a “drug overdose”. It is important to know that suicide looks different for different people, suicide statistics wouldn’t probably include my two friends above. Single car accidents… accident or not, who knows really? Suicide is real, I think we should talk about it more openly, but that is my counsellor bias speaking I am sure.

Are We Killing Drug Addicts Like Amy Winehouse? | | AlterNet
Body found with no presence of “illegal” drugs… not exactly the same as body found with no presence of drugs or alcohol. We need to start to question why some drugs are illegal and others are deemed safe, when it is completely obvious in many cases drugs are classed incorrectly. If Oxy’s kill why is it legal while pot is banned when the worst OD is “green fever”.
Think for yourself, question the authority, then act!
